Congratulations to senior nurse anesthesia student, Alyssa Gilman, and her Anesthesia College Bowl team members who claimed victory in the event on September 11, 2017. Each year the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists hosts the Anesthesia College Bowl at its Annual Congress Meeting, this year held in Seattle, Washington. Alyssa's team consisted of students from 小草社区, Wake Forest, University of North Florida, Oakland University, University of Pennsylvania and Michigan State University. These competitors successfully won two individual rounds competing against other nurse anesthesia students from programs throughout the United States, and went on to win the final match against the CRNA Faculty Challenge Team. Our own Dr. Howard Goodwin represented 小草社区 on the CRNA Challenge Team, and Dr. Nathaniel Apatov served as lead judge for the event.
